Security beefed up at EAMCET centres

For the first time, door frame metal detectors will be used at a few centres that will be hosting the AP EAMCET on May 8. “In all, there are 13 centres under the police commissionerate and the DFMDs will be set up at the centres that will be hosting students both for engineering, and agriculture and medical streams,” said Commissioner of Police Amit Garg It is learnt that police force will be present in good strength at all the centres and Section 144 under Cr.PC of 1973, will be declared in and around all the centres.

Keeping in mind the ongoing strike by the APSRTC, Lendi Institute of Engineering and Technology is providing free bus service to enable students reach the centres.
