Srijan, an association dedicated to Hindi literature and drama, organised a discussion on vyangya (satirical) literature on Sunday at which articles, poems and stories were presented.
In his welcome address secretary T. Mahadev Rao said in Hindi satire was not recognised as a form of literature but was always present right from the starting of the Hindi literature from Bharatendu Harischandra till date. President Nirav Kumar Verma who was in the chair and conducted the seminar said a thin line divided satire and comedy.
Seema Verma read out her poem on realities in daily routine while Shweta Kumari recited a poem about people who were busy on face book avoiding all the other necessary things.
