Sai Dental College gets nod for PG courses

Sri Sai Dental College, Srikakulam, got the nod from the Dental Council of India and other concerned departments for the PG courses from 2014-15 academic year, according the college’s director T.B.V. Gangaraju. The college, which was established in 2003, has been given permission for 12 seats in PG courses. Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Orthodontics and conservative wings will have three seats each in post graduation. As many as 100 seats are available in under-graduation. Mr.Gangaraju said the college had improved basic infrastructure and established a state of art library to meet the standards of the DCI. He said that permission for PG courses was a boon for the students of backward areas. “We want to establish a clinic within Srikakulam for the screening of patients free of cost. And the patients who required surgeries will be brought to the hospital,” he added.
