RO water plant inaugurated at KGH

Tamil Nadu Governor K. Rosaiah trying out a glass of water after launching a safe drinking water project at KGH in the city on Monday.

A purified drinking water facility, set up by the Rotary Clubs of Vizag with the help of Symbiosys Technologies and Ramakrishna Soppa (USA), was inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Governor K. Rosaiah at the King George Hospital here on Monday.

KGH in-charge Superintendent P.V. Sudhakar, RMO K.S.L.G. Sastry, Symbiosys MD O. Naresh Kumar, Rotary Club of Visakha Port City president P.L.K. Murthy, club secretary R. Ramakrishna Rao, past district governors Ch. Surya Rao, Chayadevi, D.S. Prakasa Rao, B.K. Rai, Philip Timothi, A. Govinda Rao, A. Suresh, K.V. Suresh Kumar, Jeeja Valsaraj, L. Kishore Kumar and Visakha Dairy PRO A. Govinda Rao were among those who attended.

After inauguration of the reverse osmosis (RO) water plant, Mr. Rosaiah visited the gynaecology ward.

The Tamil Naidu Governor distributed nearly 100 baby care kits, contributed by Symbiosys Technologies, to the newborn babies.
