Rich tributes paid to Rajiv Gandhi

State minister for Ports and Infrastructure Ganta Sreenivasa Rao spoke on the manifold contribution of the former prime minister late Rajiv Gandhi on the observance of his death anniversary here on Monday. A medical camp was organised at Jalaripeta to recall his contributions . Free consultation and medicines were distributed to the residents. MLA Dronamraju Sreenivas and city Congress general secretary Olisetty Gurunath participated.

The Youth Congress paid its tributes to the late leader by garlanding his statue on Beach Road. Speakers paid rich tributes to Rajiv Gandhi.

At a function at Prema Hospital, fruits and bread were distributed. Mr. Sreenivas spoke.
