Relish curry from around the world

Chef Srinath Sambandan told reporters on Sunday that the festival, would give an opportunity to try internationally acclaimed delicacies till June 24 for lunch and dinner.

Dishes representing the culinary transformation internationally, of the very basic of cuisine ethos, ‘curry' can be relished by food-lovers at the ‘Capital Curries' festival which began the Park in the city on Saturday.

Chef Srinath Sambandan told reporters on Sunday that the festival, would give an opportunity to try internationally acclaimed delicacies till June 24 for lunch and dinner.

The menu features preparations like Chaozhou Ga Li – from Guangdong on South China Sea, a mildly spiced chicken curry, topped with chilli garlic oil, Hotate Yaki Kare – a Japanese curry topped with egg and baked, Daktoritang – spicy Korean curried potato stew, Gulai Kambing – Indonesian curry, mildy spiced and Ca Ri Khoai Tay Bo – buttery Vietnamese shallot curry with potato. Big Dance – a Jamaican curry with all spice and thyme and Khmer Samlor Kari Moan – a Cambodian coconut curry with sweet potato and chilli paste will be special attractions.
