Defectors should be
taught a lesson
The present elections have seen all politicians realigning themselves with different parties.

The politicians, who were in power in the erstwhile government, have defected to the parties which are likely to win the next elections. Many of them, who have changed their colours, have also managed to get tickets in the new party thus becoming an eyesore for committed workers who have been brushed aside in preference to the defectors.
In the process we are getting the same set of politicians we want to be out.
Hence people should vote for people with character than by the party’s name and thus put a checkmate to such unprincipled and unholy crossovers.

It is illogical
According to news reports a contestant had appealed to the Election Commission of India seeking the removal of all ceiling fans in the polling booth, as it is the symbol of YSR Congress.
If one extends this logic, some candidates could also appeal to the EC to see that all the polling personnel should walk barefoot within a radius of 100 meters of the polling booth, and so should the voters coming to the polling booth or leave their slippers about one hundred meters away from the polling booths, as the symbol for the Jai Samaikyandhra Party is a pair of footwear.
