Police to verify documents of AgriGold victims from Oct. 12

Director General of Police (DGP) N. Sambasiva Rao has appealed to the AgriGold victims to get their documents verified at the counters to be set up by the police across the State.

Counters would be arranged in all districts on October 12, said Mr. Sambasiva Rao at a press conference at his office here on Monday.

om . Physical verification of documents will be done at mandal level in all districts,” the DGP said.

High Court has asked the Crime Investigation Department (CID), which is probing into the multi-crore scam, to submit details of the depositors in different slabs i.e. the depositors who invested up to ₹5,000, ₹5,000 to ₹10,000, ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 and above.

Depositors who have already uploaded their details in protectionofapdepositors.com are requested to log in to the same website again and note down the schedule, which was mentioned in the website. After submitting the name or mobile number of the depositor, the place where (the police station or MRO office) he or she has to go for verification and date will be displayed. Depositors can have details, even if he or she does not have access to the internet.

Those who have not uploaded details in the website are requested to register their details at the respective mandal headquarters by submitting the original bond, original receipts, Aadhar card and bank passbook.
