An online passport-cum-PCC mela is being organised by the Regional Passport Office at Passport Seva Kendra at Muralinagar on June 28 to cater to the surge in demand for services offered by the Passport Office.

One such service, which is in huge demand, is the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC), which is issued by the Passport Office. Applicants for PCC services have to carry the necessary supporting documents like original valid passport, contract agreement, Visa and the Pravasa Bharatiya Bheema Yojna, wherever applicable, according to Passport Officer N.L.P. Choudary. The set of required documents for each category of applications is available on www.passportindia.gov.in

Online appointments will be released at 5.30 p.m. on June 25. Only PCC applications, fresh/normal and re-issue/normal applications will be accepted on June 28. Applicants have to book their appointments online by registering themselves on the website www.passportindia.gov.in. They should visit the PSK on the scheduled date with the printout of Application Reference Number (ARN) sheet along with all the requisite documents in original.
