A man died and two other persons were severely injured in a road accident in Visakhapatnam district on Wednesday, when a car in which they were travelling overturned on Paderu Ghat Road.
According to the police, members of a family were returning to Nakkalaputtu from Visakhapatnam after celebrating the birthday of a relative.
After hitting a huge stone in a corner of the Paderu Ghat Road, the car overturned and fell into the valley.

While Pappu Venkata Rao (40) died on the spot, his sister and wife were severely injured. Two of the kids who were travelling with them were thrown onto the road.
A van driver who was travelling the same way, noticed the injured kids and after taking the family details informed the other members of the family in Visakhapatnam and the local police.
The injured were later shifted to King George Hospital and are undergoing treatment.
