Steel Authority of India Limited Executive Director P. Raychaudhury has been selected Director (Commercial) of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited. Public Enterprises Selection Board recommended his name in the interview conducted in New Delhi on Tuesday among 11 candidates. Three General Managers of RINL and two IRTS officers were among those who appeared for the interview.
The post of Director (Commercial) fell vacant after the appointment of T.K. Chand as Chairman and Managing Director of National Aluminium Company. PESB in the interview conducted on November 17 recommended the name of MTNL Director P.K. Purwar as the next Director (Finance) of RINL. The post will fall vacant when present incumbent T.V.S.K. Kumar superannuates in May next year.
