Nasscom selects four tech-based startups

Warehouse at Sunrise Incubation Hub part of 10K initiative

After a rigorous process, National Association of Software and Services Company (Nasscom) Warehouse located at Sunrise Incubation Hub here at Rushikonda has selected four technology-based startups for incubation.

The warehouse was set up last year is part of Nasscom’s 10,000 startup initiative. It was launched in Bengaluru in 2013 to create 10,000 startups by 2020.

“Our focus is on selecting teams with out of the box ideas with tremendous passion to scale up the ladder of success in a highly competitive environment,” Nasscom startup, Hyderabad manager Vijay Bawra told

The new batch of startups includes YantraNet Technologies, DronaMaps, ScreeenOut and BMR Innovations. Nasscom not only provides co-working space for six months but also helps in handholding the teams to turn commercial entities.

YatraNet Technoloigies is a software solution in the digital signage space. DronaMaps recreates, preserves and manages the data in centimetre level 3D, both indoors and outdoors. While ScreenOut (InteliTix Solutions Private Limited) is a blockchain and HR tech solution provider, BMR Innovations (SmartChotu) is a web platform where users can hire any services from home to personal commercial needs.

At present, ISF Technologies, I’m Not Out Solutions, FarmHub Solutions, Cr8rs Zone and Mantha Tech Solutions are at various stages of incubation at the warehouse.

Those who have passed out from the warehouse include Medic THFC, CyberCubes Solutions, Melon Studios, Gamifad and TourOra.

The warehouse is also promoting virtual startups named Interview Buddy, Snapper Technologies, Savvy IT Solutions, RoroData, Kalpah Innovations and BizzTab Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

‘Fabulous experience’

According to Ram Kumar Varma, CEO & MD of Medic, it was a fabulous experience for them at the warehouse in getting the right training, mentorship and guidance.

“We were the first startup to get shortlisted from Andhra Pradesh for 10k Nasscom startup programme and also the first successful startup to graduate with complete support from Nasscom team.”

Under Medic project, a doctor, diagnostic centre and pharmacy discovery platforms are focused on improving access to healthcare mainly in rural areas.

Mr. Varma said “Nasscom has given us immense support in branding, mentoring, connecting to the industry, startup kits in collaboration with Google, Microsoft, Paytm, Axis Bank, Amazon cloud services giving us free services to build the ecosystem.”

He said Nasscom laid the foundation and created the platform to build the startups. “We have to utilise them and explore market opportunity,” he remarked.
