Merit certificates presented

Education is a continuous process, Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University G.S.N. Raju said while addressing the Republic Day function at the AU grounds here on Monday.

Credit-based value system would be introduced soon in the university, Prof. Raju said. The Vice-Chancellor presented merit certificate and a cash award of Rs. 2,000 each to 20 employees and 10 students. Earlier he garlanded the statue of Gandhiji near the Central Administrative Office. Later he unfurled the national flag at the AU ground and took salute at a march past presented by the NCC, NSS, Physical Education Department, Security Wing and students contingents. Cultural programme was also held.
