Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) has extended last date for online submission of applications for 24 vacant posts through the District Selection Committee from April 3 to May 3.
VUDA has issued notification last month inviting applications for direct filling of the posts under general recruitment. The government, vide GO Rt.No.88 of Municipal Administration and Urban development Department dated February 28 has accorded permission to VUDA to fill up 55 vacant posts in various cadres. The government permitted VUDA to take up recruitment process locally to fill five posts in tracer cadre, 13 work inspectors and six in surveyor-cum-draftsman cadre, through the District Level Selection Committee. Remaining posts will be filled by the APPSC.
The District Level Committee, which met under the chairmanship of the Collector on Tuesday, decided to extend the deadline. The posts will be filled through an objective type written test. There will be no interview. Local and non-local quota will be followed.
