Initiative for career improvement

As part of an initiative for career improvement, Vizag Information Technology Association (VITA) conducted an interactive faculty development programme for the science faculty of member colleges.

Lessons were taught on cloud technologies and requirement analysis by speakers from Amzur Technologies, IBM and Pena4 Technologies. VITA’s academic institution initiative was launched over three years ago.

Technical Lead of Amzur Technologies Shankar Rao Piriya explained about cloud computing and how it was changing the development models. Senior Technical Consultant of IBM Bharath Duggirala spoke on BlueMix, a platform as a service (PaaS). Pena4 Technologies vice-president Ravi Eswarapu highlighted the importance of requirements gathering and analysis.

VITA president Deepak Madala welcomed. Member-company representatives Murali Bulusu, Srinivas Savaram and Srihari Edara, participated.
