With the unearthing of job scam, HPCL management on Monday denied any connection with Bhogaraju Ramakrishna, the kingpin behind the racket who allegedly collected money from the job-seekers promising them employment in the public sector company.

The key accused, who was nabbed by the police a couple of days ago following complaints by a group of unemployed youths, allegedly promised jobs by collecting over Rs.1 crore claiming that he had good contacts in the HPCL.

During recruitment of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, Army, and other organisations, caution notices had been issued not to believe any brokers promising jobs. Despite warnings, complaints of cheating by promising jobs are being received by the police regularly.
