Mumbai based healthcare services provider ‘E-Arogya’ is planning to cover schoolchildren from disadvantaged sections of society attending local and state government schools under its health care programme in the city.
Under the CSR programme, free medical tests to children to evaluate their current nutrition level and a health talk to create awareness on malnutrition, healthy foods, eating practices and on importance of physical exercise for healthy growth will be undertaken soon. Recently a two-day programme had been conducted at the SOS Children’s Village in this regard, according to E-Arogya CEO Someswara Koundinya.
He said in a press release that his company is established with the objective of providing complete-healthcare-freedom to its customers. The company is targeting corporate and individual customers for its comprehensive wellness programmes. While keeping the employees and their families healthy, the service would help in improving the employee productivity and reduce absenteeism, he said. One of the latest and important developments in healthcare field includes use of Information Technology methods for providing better and convenient healthcare services to patients.
