The toll-free grievance redress phone number 1800 4250 0009 which works on IVRS mode will now be a direct phone. Municipal Commissioner M.V. Satyanarayana directed that the change be effected following complaints that citizens were facing problems in IVRS mode. On Saturday interacting with complainants at the call centre, the Commissioner promised action on correction in birth certificate, drinking water problem at Yarada, de-silting a storm water drain at Saibabanagar at Sivajipalem in Ward 16, street-lighting problem at PM Palem and insanitation at Sudarshan park at Muralinagar.
