Guntur special to run six trips

East Coast Railway has now announced running of a special train between Visakhapatnam-Guntur-Visakhapatnam for three days before and three days after Pongal from either side.

Train no. 08507 Visakhapatnam-Guntur special express will leave Visakhapatnam on January 10, 11, 12, 17, 18 and 19 at 5.35 a.m. and will reach Guntur on the same day at 12.30 p.m.

In return direction, train no. 08508 Guntur-Visakhapatnam special express will leave Guntur on January 10, 11, 12, 17, 18 and 19 at 4.50 p.m. and will arrive in Visakhapatnam on the same day at 11.30 p.m.

These trains will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada and Mangalagiri, according to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager M. Yelveder Yadav.

The trains will have one Third AC coach, eight General second class coaches, five second class sitting chair car coaches and two Second class sitting-cum-luggage coaches in its composition.

It may be recalled that ECoR had earlier withdrawn train no.08503/08504 Visakhapatnam-Guntur-Visakhapatnam which was supposed to have run five days a week from Jan 2 to 27 in either directions.
