With enthralling cultural programmes presented by students of various streams, Avanthi Group of Institutions’ Graduation Day began on a grand note here on Friday.
AU Vice-Chancellor G. Nageswara Rao, who was chief guest, gave away certificates to graduates. He told the students to equip themselves and be industry-ready. Vice-Chancellor of Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University V. Kesava Rao, who participated as guest of honour, emphasised the need to think big and stay focused.
Anakapalle MP and chairman of Avanthi Group M. Srinivasa Rao, Principal of Avanthi Institute of Engineering Technology, Narsipatnam, C. Mohan Rao, among others also spoke. While meritorious students were given away medals, close to 600 students walked away with graduation certificates.
