Inaugurating the certificate verification process for EAMCET counselling at Government Institute of Chemical Engineering (GICE) here on Thursday, HRD Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao said A.P. has been proactive all through the EAMCET deliberation, but it was the Telangana government that was putting the spanner in the process.

Interacting with parents, students and the media, he said the process would have started and finished by now, but it was delayed due to Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s decision to do away with the fee reimbursement of students from A.P.

He said “if the talks with TS government fail, then we will be forced to approach the Supreme Court again and let the apex court decide.”
