Focus on harmony at science fair

Twelve schools from the city participate

Visitors going round inter-school science fair at Navy Children School in Visakhapatnam on Friday.

An inter-school science fair ‘PURAVIDA – Science in Improving the Quality of Life’ – with an aim to inculcate in children the significance of living in harmony with nature was organised at Navy Children School(NCS). Twelve schools from the city participated in the inter-school fair.

Command Engineer Officer of ENC Commodore Sanjay Shrivasatava inaugurated the fair.

The use of the ancient system of medicine, Ayurveda, nature and Yoga in order to build a physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually healthy people were showcased at the fair.

Winners

S V Anurag Kaushik and Amartya Kumar of Navy Children School, NSB (seniors) and Gaurav Prakash and Manas M of Visakha Valley School (juniors) have been adjudged winners and Tanushri Raj and Aditya Prakash of Ramanath Secondary School (seniors) and Shalini and Harsh Vardhan of Sanskruthi Global School (juniors) as runners-up. Vice-president of NWWA Devina Jain gave away the prizes.
