In spite of problems faced after bifurcation, top priority is being given to education on which ₹ 23,209 crore is being spent, HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao has said.
Participating on the fifth day of Nava Nirmana Deeksha on “HRD, attracting investments, employment and skill development” at AU Dr Y V S Murthy Auditorium here on Tuesday, he said to promote education of girls cycles were being given to them.
Digital classrooms, model schools and English medium classes were aimed at toning up education for the poorer sections, particularly in rural areas.

In spite of unscientific bifurcation of the State much against the wishes of the people, the State was progressing well owing to the visionary leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naiud, he said.
All the promises made in the manifesto, including waiver of loans to farmers and DWCRA women, were fulfilled, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said.
The Minister gave away books and uniforms to students and youth who got training in skill development under National Academy of Construction.
