The deities of Nitai Gauranga were given a celestial bath with sacred waters of seven rivers – Ganga, Yamuna, Godavari, Saraswathi, Narmada, Sindhu and Kaveri – stored in 108 Kalasams . The ritual was followed by mahabhishekam performed with panchamrutha and panchagavya along with a mix of 20 varieties of flowers. After the celestial bath, the idols were decked up with magenta coloured attires and fresh flower garlands.
