Victims lodge complaint with IV Town police

Around 100 to 120 youngsters on Thursday approached the Fourth Town police station limits demanding action against management of a job consultancy firm which allegedly duped them by collecting money in the name of providing employment in Visakhapatnam.

According to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP-Dwaraka Zone) A Ramachandra Rao, on October 30 around 20 youths approached Dwaraka Zone police and complained that a consultancy AV Tech in Dwakanagar collected around ₹ 20,000 to ₹ 50,000 from each candidate claiming that they would provide jobs in Kuwait.

However, after collecting huge money, the management has been absconding. The ACP said on October 30 itself, they have received complaint and started the investigation process. The police suspect that around ₹2 to 3 crore might have been collected from victims.
