CII holds quality circle competition

CII Andhra Pradesh organised its 3rd edition of Andhra Pradesh State Level Quality Circle Competition for the year 2017-18, here in the city on Wednesday.

Ravands Controls Inc won the competition by securing the first place and Mangal Industries and Bharath Electronics Limited QC teams were adjudged as the second and third runners up.

The State-level competition is a part of CII’s continuous thrust towards strengthening the quality movement in India. The three winners of the state level competition would now compete at the Regional level competition to be held in Chennai. Regional winners will compete at the CII National QC Circle Convention. About eight Quality Circle Teams from ITC ABD ILTD, Ravands Controls Inc, Mangal Industries, Bharath Electronics Limited and Quantum Clothing India participated in the competition.

PSS Hanumantha Rao and D K Bhattacharya from QCFI Hyderabad and N Bhanu, DGM (MS) - Vizag Steel Plant judged the competition.

V Murali Krishna, immediate past chairman, CII Visakhapatnam zone and Managing Director, Mahatma Gandhi Cancer Hosptial & Research Institute and G Murali Krishna, Vice Chairman, CII Visakhapatnam zone and managing director, Fluentgrid Limited gave away the trophies to the winners.
