Refreshing shades of lehengas with a matching choli and contrast dupatta, wide-legged palazzo pants, shararas , wrap-around designer saris, kurtas with block prints and digital prints, and an assortment of trinket jewellery form a part of the two-day Trendz Summer Sutra exhibition that began here on Tuesday.

Fashion designers from Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Indore, Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad assembled to exhibit their creations at the venue.

For those who came from various places, the fair offered them a platform to improve their marketing techniques.

“This is the second time that we have come to the city for the purpose. Keeping the harsh weather in view, georgette saris with a combination of Kutch, mirror, and resham works, apart from long jackets that can be teamed up with both western and Indian clothes, have been introduced for the season,” explains Reena Dhameja, a fashion designer from Indore.

Besides a wide range of bridal wear, exclusive accessories, handbags with digital prints, potli bags, and trendy clutches appear to be some of the exhibits that draw one’s attention at the fair.

The exhibition, inaugurated by former Miss Vizag Swetha Reddy, will remain open on Wednesday at Hotel Novotel from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
