Actor and TDP Hindupur MLA Balakrishna got a rousing reception when he participated in a programme where the Telugu Yuvatha urban and rural wings assumed office on Wednesday.
He danced the tribal Dhimsa with women after paying floral tributes to party founder NTR at the TDP office here. Cadres were quite excited with the presence of the popular hero raising slogans in his favour. Mr. Balakrishna took time off from his film ‘Jai Simha’ shooting to participate in the party programme in which Lodagala Krishna took over as Telugu Yuvatha urban and rural president along with 100 other office-bearers.
He administered oath to them.Describing discipline as a hallmark of TDP, Mr. Balakrishna said the party always recognised hard-working cadres but they should remain disciplined.

That was why TDP became a party with the highest membership of 75 lakhs.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was endeavouring to make the State a top one with special focus on irrigation projects like ‘Apara Bhagiratha’.
On their part, workers should take them to people by wide use of social media, he said.

He cut a cake marking TDP leaders visiting one crore houses as a part of ‘Intintiki Telugu Desam’ programme.
TDP urban and rural presidents Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar and Panchakarla Rameshbabu respectively, MLAs Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy, PVGR Naidu, V Anitha and V. Ramakrishnababu and urban general secretary Ch.V. Pattabhiram participated. Party workers vied with one another to take selfie with Balayya.
