The inspirational songs penned by G. Sanyasi Rao, a long time trade union worker who has been writing poetry on social issues and singing them, was released by CPI (M) Polit Bureau member B. V. Raghavulu.

Referring him to as an old colleague from the days of public protests and trade union activities, Raghavulu hailed the book as an arrival of a trade union activist on the literary arena. The book has been published by the Centre for Indian Trade Unions Visakhapatnam city unit.

Sanyasi Rao, who was earlier an employee of the BHPV and was active union member, lost his vision. He has not allowed his handicap to curb his creativity. His use of simple words from the Uttarandhra dialect have made his songs popular at every agitation and people’s struggles.
