Three days after the jilted lover allegedly murdered his girlfriend suspecting her fidelity, the One Town police on Tuesday arrested the accused B Satish (23), after he was discharged from King George Hospital, here on Tuesday.
According to One Town Inspector Umapati, the accused Satish has been in love with one B Bhavani for the last four years. On Saturday, he allegedly murdered the girl by slitting her throat.
The police said a week back, the accused had beaten the girl severely suspecting her fidelity. He was warned by his parents and the victim’s parents. However, he did not change his attitude.

The police have booked cases under section 302 IPC and Sec 3(2)(V) of SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act-2015.
