A couple of passenger trains have been cancelled and all important long distance mail/express trains in the section between Visakhapatnam-Palasa-Visakhapatnam would run behind schedule on April 26 and 27 in view of traffic facility works being taken up between Ponduru – Dusi sections, according to a statement issued by Divisional Commercial Manager Tribikram Mishra.
The trains cancelled are 58526/58525 and 67294/67293 Visakhapatnam-Palasa Visakhapatnam passenger. The other trains would be delayed from the morning hours till completion of the block works as they would have to operate on a single line.
Station Managers at Visakhapatnam, Kothavalasa, Vizianagaram, Cheepurupalle, Dusi, Srikakulam Road, Tilaru, Naupada Junction and Palasa will find out online train position depending upon the track works and reveal the position to the intending travelling public going by different trains on those two days.
