Apparently, it did not take Regina long to glide into a bold role in Kanda Naal Mudhal , her debut Tamil flick. Her flair for acting and the creative urge to experiment with different roles helped her grab five Tamil, seven Telugu and one Kannada movies.

Much to the surprise of local audience, this Chennai-based actor is equally at ease conversing in Telugu. Regina disagrees, saying, “In order to emote in front of the camera, it is important to understand the language and deliver the lines. As far as Telugu language is concerned, I still have a long way to go.”

Besides her love for the language, the actor says that she is a big-time foodie but a veggie. “I gave up eating meat after I joined People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals six years ago. Of all, I like paneer tikka and I don’t feel tired of eating it at any time of the day,” the actor says.

Being a psychology graduate, Regina says that she has good observation skills. “But the best part is I try to observe people and still not be judgmental about them,” she clarifies.

Sharing a beauty tip, she says, “When you are happy from within, it reflects on your face. So stay happy and look glamorous.”

With Rajathanthiram in Tamil along with Shankara and Subramanyam for Sale in Telugu as her future projects, Regina says her dream role is to play the character of a person who has psychological problems.
