Royal spread awaits food-lovers

Food-lovers can have a fun-filled day at the Nawabi Nakhren food festival being hosted by Hotel Green Park. The festival, which gives an exposure to the culinary culture of great Mughlai kings, will continue till April 11. The Mughlai food, a-la-carte extravaganza offered for dinner, is evoking good response. After successfully hosting Bengali and Oriya food festivals, the hotel started the Nawabi Nakhren on April 2 at the Telip restaurant. Executive Chef L.M. Bhatnagar says that Mughlai food is rich and has unique aroma. Non-vegetarians can relish various types of paratha, including chicken keema paratha, kaju kheema kebab paratha. One has the choice to order curries like Akbari murgh masala, Zafrani gosht lababdar, Ajwainey machili tandoori. Vegetarians can have Chakundari bhara kulcha, Rogni pishori naan, Hariyali pishori paratha, Malaidar kofta curry, Zafrani panner pasanda, Khumb mutter pudina masala and Panrangi dal Mughlalai. Green Park F&B Manager Samit Kumar says the ambience with the Nawabi outfits and the melodious ghazals will make the occasion memorable.
