IRCTC’s package tours to Goa, Sri Lanka and HK

Buoyed by the success of the international tours from Vizag to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore in September last year, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) Limited, has once again come out with package tours to Goa and international tours to Sri Lanka and Hong Kong from Hyderabad.

The Goa tour would start with the Hyderabad-Goa flight at 12.50 p.m. on October 21 and return to Hyderabad Airport would be at 3.45 p.m. on October 24. The Sri Lanka tour would commence on December 10 from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad and conclude in Hyderabad on December 14 at 6 p.m, according to N. Sanjeevaiah, Deputy General Manager (Catering and Tourism), IRCTC, South Central Zone, Secunderabad.

The package tour to Hong Kong would begin on October 10 and conclude around midnight on October 12 in Hyderabad. The domestic package tour per person costs Rs.18,970 to Goa and the international packages cost Rs.45,001 to Sri Lanka and Rs.73,419 to Hong Kong.

The facilities to be provided as part of the package include: to and fro flight tickets, accommodation in star hotels, local transport, guide services, meals, travel insurance, entry fee at sight-seeing place and VISA charges (for international packages).

Bharat Darshan

IRCTC is offering a ‘Bharat Darshan’ tour package by rail. The 11-day tour package will start in Visakhapatnam on October 14. The places to be covered include: Gaya Varanasi, Allahabad, Haridwar, Delhi, Mathura and Agra.

The package cost is Rs.8,800 (Sleeper Class) and Rs.11,500 (III AC). Mr. Sanjeevaiah said that IRCTC would open an office in Vizag in the near future. The IRCTC Group General Manager has already visited Vizag and held discussions with Divisional Railway Manager Chandralekha Mukherjee in this regard, he said.
