Dos and don’tsfor investors

Investors were taught the dos and don’ts of financial management at an investors’ awareness programme conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) along with Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (RINL) on Thursday.

The experts spoke on rights and obligations of investors, dos and don’ts in the capital market and various remedies available for grievance redressal for shareholders.

ICSI Hyderabad chapter took the initiative along with Registrar of Companies (ROC), Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, in coordination with Company Affairs Department and Human Resources Department of RINL.

Registrar of Companies (AP) N. Krishnamurthy, Hyderabad chapter chairman of ICSI Devaki Vasudeva Rao and ICSI South India Regional Council member S.S. Marthi, spoke.

RINL General Manager (Company Affairs) and Company Secretary P. Mohan Rao welcomed the gathering.
