AU ties up with Fin Tech Academy

Andhra University and Fin Tech Academy will jointly take up collaborative academic programmes to train students to meet the requirements of banking and capital markets.

This was disclosed by Prof. G. Nageswara Rao, Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University, here on Wednesday.

Prof. Rao, who attended the meeting of Fin Tech Academy organised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh at AP Secretariat, said it was decided to implement the design of Fin Tech programmes in both at the industry and academic levels.

The meeting was attended by Vice-Chancellors and the CEOs from different industries in financial sector.

Objective

Prof. Rao said the objective of the meeting was to facilitate a meaningful collaboration between industry and universities so that the products of universities become relevant and useful to the specific needs of the industry. He said the Andhra University would design courses, which would be flexible to meet the requirements of the industries and financial institutions.
