150 students screened at medical camp at GVMC school

In an attempt to promote community service, Vasantham, a voluntary association, organised a free medical camp at GVMC Primary School, Isukathota.

Paediatrician K. Krishna Murthy examined about 150 students of the school.

Post the examination, vitamin pills and de-worming tablets were given to those who gathered at the venue.

The camp was inaugurated by Visakhapatnam East MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu. Founder-president of Vasantham M. Raghu Rama Rao and secretary Captain N. Ramakrishna said that similar camps would be held at GVMC School located in Sivajipalem.

Free diabetic camp

Meanwhile, a free diabetic camp was held at Lions Club, Ramnagar, on Sunday.

The initiative was taken up by the Lions Club Visakhapatnam.

The camp concluded with the distribution of scholarships among meritorious students and a laptop to a topper.
