Workshop on Android apps from tomorrow

The objective of the workshop is to create awareness on developing Android Apps and encourage students to develop their own applications which can be deployed on their Android mobiles.

The CSI (Computer Society of India) student chapter of SRK Institute of Technology, Vijayawada, plans to organise a three-day national-level workshop on “Android Apps Development” from Thursday (July 19). The objective of the workshop is to create awareness on developing Android Apps and encourage students to develop their own applications which can be deployed on their Android mobiles.

Chairman of CSI chapter, Vijayawada, A. Koteswara Roa, will inaugurate the event. The chapter’s coordinator D. Saritha said that the CSI had a huge network of about 90,000 members functioning under 71 different chapters and 418 student chapters across the country.

Director P. Venkata Narsaiah said that the objective of the CSI chapter was to help the student community keep abreast with the latest developments in technology based on the constantly altering needs of the society.
