Another Telugu translation of Rabindranath Tagore’s ‘Gitanjali’ hit the stands recently. The Vijayawada Book Festival Society organised a book review as part of ongoing book exhibition-cum-sale on Sunday. The book was penned by Dr. Bhargavi.

Reviewing the book, Balantrapu Naga Prasoona said that the translation expressed the author’s thoughts and feelings. The lively illustrations by Giridhar Goud added colour to the poetry. The vivid images help the reader understand the emotions, she said.

Mr. Goud said that he was fortunate to do illustrations for the book.
