Three more eSeva centres to be opened in city

The Krishna district administration contemplates opening three more e-Seva centres in the city. A centre will be opened at Ranigarithota in Krishnalanka and two more near Saibaba temple in Patamata.

Joint Collector Gaurav Uppal inspected the eSeva centres in city on Saturday.

On the occasion, he said that the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) was asked to provide necessary infrastructure at the proposed centres.

The Corporation was asked to prepare estimates for taking up flooring and ceiling works. The Data Management Corporation was asked to provide computers and machines to identify the counterfeit currency notes. The eSeva managers would provide furniture like chairs, he said, adding that there were 20 eSeva centres in the district, including 11 in the city.

The Joint Collector said that problems faced by the eSeva staff were brought to the notice of higher ups.

The Data Management Corporation had responded positively to redress problems regarding the Provident Fund, ESI, earned and casual leaves, salaries payments etc., he said.

The eSeva centres in charge V. Bhavanarayana, VMC Deputy EE Ramakrishna, eSeva centre manger K. Srinivas and others were present.
