TET and Teachers Recruitment Test from May 9 to 11

As many as 29,114 candidates will be appearing for the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) and Teachers Recruitment Test (TRT) at the 123 examination centres in the district from May 9 to 11.

Accordingly, the district administration is making elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examinations. At a meeting organised with officials of different departments, Joint Collector Gandham Chandrudu instructed the Medical and Health departments to set up a para medical team at each centre with sufficient medicines to attend any emergency cases.

He directed the RTC officials to operate special buses in 28 different routes facilitating the candidates to reach respective examination centres well in advance on the examination day. He said mobile phones and other electronic equipment would not be permitted in the examination hall.

The police were instructed to ensure foolproof security arrangements at strong rooms to store question papers and answer sheets. The administration has arranged 12 centres for the secondary grade teachers on May 9, 16 centres for Bhasha Pandit on May 10 and three centres for preliminary English test in the afternoon, 21 centres for School Assistants Language tests on May 11 and 73 centres for School assistants non-language test in the afternoon. In all, 1,566 personnel have been deployed for the smooth conduct of the examinations, said a press release.
