TDP urban unit to fight on public issues

A committee will be formed for every affiliated organisation of the party, says Vamsi

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) urban unit has decided to take up agitations on spiralling prices of essential commodities, and other problems that were affecting the common man.

TDP urban president Vamsi conducted a meeting with TDP urban and TDP affiliated organisations here on Tuesday.

On the occasion, he said a committee would be formed for every affiliated organisation, and strengthen them at the division level.

The extended meeting of affiliated organisations in all constituencies would be convened.

The affiliated organisations would have to respond to the local problems and social issues, he said, adding, the TDP urban unit would extend all possible help to the affiliated organisations.

TDP urban general secretary Songa Ravindra Verma, Telugu Yuvata president R.Tandava Krishna, general secretary Ch. Narasimha Rao, Mahla wing president M. Narayanamma, TNTUC president B. Subrahmanyam, general secretary M. Ramaswami, BC Cell President M. Srinivas, ST Cell president K. Sambaiah, and Minority Cell president Muzaffer Baig were among those present at the meeting.
