Both the TDP and YSR Congress parties have betrayed the people of the State by becoming subservient to the BJP and giving up the struggle for Special Category Status (SCS), APCC president N. Raghuveera Reddy has said.

Addressing the media here on Tuesday, Mr. Raghuveera Reddy alleged that the BJP was not according SCS because the leaders of the ruling TDP and the Opposition YSR Congress Party lacked the courage to fight with the party in power at the Centre.

“People have a good opportunity to question the leaders of both the parties on the issue as they are approaching them as part of the door-to-door campaign,” he said.
