TATA Trusts to fill gaps in funding govt. schemes

April 20, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:45 am IST - Vijayawada:

MP Kesineni Srinivas on Sunday said nowhere in the country, except Vijayawada, all the villages in a Parliamentary constituency were chosen by TATA Trusts for extending financial assistance. It took six months for him to propose the micro-planning for 264 villages and impress upon the Trusts to contribute to the development of the villages.

TATA Trusts will fill the gaps in funding various Central and State government schemes over the next two to three years. TATA Trusts Programme Officer Paresh J. Manohar said a draft village development plan had already been prepared for Gollamandala (it was adopted by the MP ). The financial implications will be known once the micro-planning is over.
