Supreme Court Judge J. Chalameswar and Chairman of Central Board of Director Taxes K.V. Chowdary, former students of Hindu school, Machilipatnam, go down the memory lane and share their experiences

: Going down the memory lane, Supreme Court Judge J. Chalameswar and Chairman of Central Board of Direct Taxes K.V. Chowdary, former students of the Hindu school, Machilipatnam, on Monday spent a few hours on their school campus.

The duo narrated their school life and shared their experiences with the alumni of the school who turned out for their address to the students at Sri Daita Sriramulu Auditorium. Expressing disappointment over poor importance for literature in the educational institutions, Mr. Chalameswar advised students to study literature, apart from academic subjects.

Sharing a few memories of his school life, Mr. Chowdary appealed to the rural youth to develop soft skills to compete with urban communities.

“One should not change their field of interest in building career citing competition. One should strive to become professional in their chosen field,” said Mr. Chowdary. The duo accompanied by the Hindu College secretary D. Ramachandra Sastry spent a few minutes in their classrooms of the Hindu School along with the children. Mr. Chalameswar and Mr. Chowdary were felicitated on the occasion.
