SCR extends operation of special trains

The South Central Railway has extended the operation of few special trains as part of efforts to clear extra rush of passengers.

Accordingly, train No. 08502 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam weekly special train will depart Secunderabad at 4.30 p.m. on February 3, 10, 17 and 24 and March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 6.30 a.m. on the next day.

In the return direction, Train No.08501 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Weekly Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 11 p.m. on February 4, 11, 18 and 25, March 4, 11, 18 and 25 and April 1 and arrive at Secunderabad at 11.45 a.m. on the next day. These Weekly Special Trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both the directions.

Train No. 08507 Visakhapatnam - Guntur Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 5.35 a.m. on January 24, 25 and 26 and arrive Guntur 12.30 p.m. the same day. Train No.08508 Guntur - Visakhapatnam Special Train will depart Guntur at 4.50 p.m. on January 24, 25 and 26 and arrive Visakhapatnam at 11.30 p.m. on the same day.

En route, these special trains will stop at Duvvuda, Anakapalli, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada and Mangalagiri stations in both the directions. Train No. 02873 Visakhapatnam - Tirupati Weekly Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 4.45 p.m. on February 2, 9, 16 and 23 and March 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 and arrive at Tirupati at 4.30 a.m. on the next day. In the return direction, Train No.02874 Tirupati - Visakhapatnam Weekly Special Train will depart Tirupati at 4 p.m. on February 3, 10, 17 and 24 and March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 and arrive at Visakhapatnam at 5:15 a.m on the next day. En route, these Weekly Special Trains will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Gudur and Renigunta stations in both the directions, said a press release.
