The striking employees staged a novel protest by holding roses in their hands while some kept in ears as a symbolic representation that the government was hoodwinking the Seemandhra people.

VMC Examiner of Accounts M. V. Prasad said it was unfortunate that the government has decided to divide the Telugus.
