The Satyanarayanapuram Police on Tuesday filed a case against film director Ram Gopal Varma and three others under Section 156 Clause (3) based on a directive of the First Metropolitan Court Magistrate.
During the making of the film ‘ Vangaveeti ’ early this year, the director earned the wrath of the former legislator and son of the late Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga Rao, Vangaveeti Radhakrishna, and his mother .
They approached the court, and after going their plea, it ordered the police to file a case against Mr. Varma.
