Due to the lack of implementation of decisions taken by the Food Advice Committee, many consumers are being troubled, said committee member K. Subba Raju.

Many white ration cards have not been sanctioned to beneficiaries so far though they had applied for it during Ratcha banda.

The quantity of kerosene and palmoil has been reduced from five litres to two litres a month and to one litre for those with single gas connection.

He criticized the people's representatives who promised more kerosene quota, but failed.

The CPI leader on the other hand appreciated the increase in the quota of sugar on the occasion of Ramzan. He demanded good quality of the pulses and cereals be sold as third rate goods were being sold at the price of top quality produce in the super market.

He wished for immediate progress in the resolution of the issues in issuing of pink ration cards and Aadhar cards and a committee for preventing corruption in Rythu bazaars.
