Padyams by Akkiraju Sundara Ramakrishna captivate men of letters

Noted painter Macharaju Ramachandra Rao has been presented the Akkiraju Ramaiah Pantulu Cultural award while Telugu littérateur Chadlavada Lakshmi Narasimha Rao received the Akkiraju Ramaiah Pantulu literary award.

''Nrusimha'' a classical poetry book by Dr.Akkiraju Sundara Ramakrishna was released late on Sunday. Novelist Akundi Vishwanatham, whose book Muthyala sala has won the national award, and noted Telugu pandit Bhuvanagiri Purushotam were honoured on the occasion.

Santhapet Saibaba Temple open auditorium here set the right ambiance for Dr. Akkiraju Sundara Ramakrishna, versatile actor, poet and anchor to render Padyams from mythological plays during the Padya Kavita Sadassu.

Prakasam District Rachayutulu Sangam president B.Hanuma Reddy, its secretary Ponnuri Venkata Srinivasulu, District Hindu Dharma Prajara Mandali president Alahari Chenchala Rao and Andhra Padya Kavita Sadassu Prakasam district Unit General Secretary Chennareddi Ramaiah Choudhary were among those floored by the literary performance by Dr Sundara Ramakrishna.
